- Interest Meeting (October 21, 2005) :
- The interest meeting had pretty good turnout, considering the late notice; hopefully people will
keep coming. Since we hadn't been assigned a book to read over the summer (though most of us had read
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince), we discussed what types of books we typically enjoyed and threw
around title suggestions. The book we decided on was Dragon Wing (
see current news),
but other popular titles were :
A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole
The Rule of Four by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason (former TJ graduates !!)
Schindler's List by Thomas Keneally
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares
