2002 - 03 TJHSST Bowling Club

A Letter to Interested Students Thank you for considering the Bowling Club! We will ride to the AMF alley at Annandale every Friday, both blocks, for two games. No skill or experience is necessary. Most of us improve over the course of a year. General Information ¢ The weekly lineage/shoe rental fee is $5 this year. You will need the permission form and emergency care card the first time you attend. ¢ All outings will take up both blocks. Do not sign up for a single block! Arrive by 2:15 p.m. at the main office lobby. ¢ If we have too many people on any certain day, we will work on a first-come, first-serve basis, so show up as early as possible. Rules of Conduct ¢ Respect the equipment, staff and rules of the bowling alley and your fellow bowlers. ¢ Practice good sportsmanship; especially, no kicking the ball rack. ¢ All school rules apply at the alley. ¢ If you want to bowl more than two games, you may have to pay the normal price for any game or part of a game. Please be honest about this; your reputation is at stake. ¢ Return shoes and balls when you are done bowling. Do not leave balls on the ball rack; this makes other people clean them up. ¢ Pick up after yourself. We will not leave until cleanup is complete. We may suspend or revoke memberships if necessary. Bowling Etiquette ¢ Do not step onto the approach until the players in the adjacent lanes have released their balls. ¢ Be prepared to take your turn. Don't make everyone else wait. ¢ Control your emotions. ¢ Stay in your own approach area (don't walk around the ball returns). ¢ Don't make excessive noise.                                 We look forward to seeing you on Fridays!
