Our Activities:

Bay Grass Growing
One of our primary annual activities is bay grass growing. We buy local bay grass from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, plant it in a pollutant-free zone, and then transplant it into the bay to help the Bay's ecosystem.

Movies
To raise money for our springtime outdoor activities, the Chesapeake Bay Club uses the fall and winter seasons to show a few water-oriented movies, namely Finding Nemo, Jaws, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Along with selling baked goods and pizza, we raise

Storm Drain Stenciling
Another one of our Bay-supportive activities is storm drain stenciling. We use stencils obtained from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation to warn the population of what their litter is affecting.

J-Day Sales
We annually sell food items to raise money for our other activities on J-Day.

Awareness
We regularly spread awareneess of Bay issues throughout the school through the use of posters and flyers.
