FBLA stands for Future Business Leaders of America. FBLA is an 8th period activity at TJ,
which meets on Wednesdays A block. We do many different types of activities,
the majority relating to business. We have fundraisers throughout the
year, which include car washes, food sales during break times (donuts,
pizza, etc.), and other activities.

FBLA was started at Jefferson during the 2000-2001 school year. Mrs. Jennifer Seavey stepped
up immediately to offer her services as the sponsor, having had business
experience in the past both with and without the FBLA. During the first
year, the TJ FBLA was successful in laying the groundwork for the
following year and years to come.
The TJ FBLA meets every week during 8th Period A Block on Wednesdays. There are six elected
positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Publicist and Webmaster
