Welcome to the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology's Fellowship of Christian Athlete's website!

FCA provides a fun and welcoming environment for Christian students to hang out and have fellowship with each other. There is an emphasis on athletics, and FCA reaches out to both athletes and coaches. Regular FCA meetings range from fun and relaxing huddles to deep and inspirational bible studies. FCA also sponsors many events throughout the year, which are advertised throughout the school. FCA believes in the Bible as the infallible Word of God. TJ's FCA is a part of the national FCA organization.

All activities are student led and sponsored by TJ staff. Everyone is welcome!

meetings:

huddles - hang out with dozens of other TJ students during 8th period. start off with some student-led worship, hear a quick inspirational message, and then play a game. a great time to get to know other students and just have fun.
bible studies - a time to get serious about God's word. come during 8th period to hear other students lead a fun and Christ-centered bible study. a great way to grow your faith during the week.
JLC studies - come to room 145 from 8:30 - 8:50 to have a quick but personal bible study before starting the school day with other students.
leadership meetings - held during lunch on tuesdays in room 242-A. come to help plan FCA events and have fellowship with other committed believers. students who want to lead huddles and bible studies can sign up through these meetings.

Memorize the weekly verse, and you can get a prize every Friday at the Bible Study! You can find the verses here (they are label sized, so put them in your assignment notebook!)

FCA's Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death thrvough His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men (women) regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
