National Junior Classical League, Summer 2007

Students from TJ Latin attended the National Junior Classical League convention in Tennessee. There they competed against other states in a variety of academic, art, athletic, and dramatic competitions. The highlight of the week long event was the Intermediate (Latin 2) Certamen team's 1st place victory. The team consisted of Amith Ananthram, Anne-Marie Creighton, Chris Kilgore, and Vivaek Shivakumar from TJ. Certamen at the national level is very competitive, and this was Virginia's first victory in five years. Hopefully, these victories will continue many more years to come!
