The official date for the 2008 Spontaneous Invitational has been confirmed for Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Thomas Jefferson High School (6560 Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA 22312). This is a wonderful opportunity for teams from schools within the area to practice a variety of different problems in preparation for the upcoming Regional Odyssey of the Mind competition. While the Invitational is predominantly for Division 1 and 2 teams, Primary teams are welcome to participate in Division 1 or observe other teams in action. The schedule (updated) is as follows. Judge registration will occur at 7:30 in the morning, and judge training will begin at 8:00. Teams should register between 8:00 and 8:30. Spontaneous problems will begin at 9:00. The awards ceremony will be held at 2:00 that afternoon. To register, please follow the directions on the registration form. Please note that the registration deadline for the Invitational is Sunday, January 13. We must receive all checks by Friday, January 18.
