What is Chemistry Team?

Not just a set of recycled lectures

The number one goal of Chemistry Team is to spread the love of Chemistry throughout the TJ community.

Each officer and Chemistry Team member takes pride in their membership and do all they can to make Chemistry Team a better place. So, every week, you can expect a fully engaging and interesting time at Chemistry Team, be it a lecture or a round of Jeopardy. Our mission is to expand the minds of our members through the infinite horizons of Chemistry.

3D Visualizations

Using state of the art WebGL and the latest Chemdoodle Web Components open-source html toolkit, we're able to bring molecular structures to life in the simplicity of your browser. Make sure you're using a modern brower (not Internet Explorer) to view these fully interactive 3D structures!

3-Dimensional visualizations allow for a more immersive, visual learning environment, both during the lectures and for those studying outside the club. Chemdoodle Web Components is availabe for free under the open-source GPL license, and you can download the source code for these molecules here.
