The Conference

The ethics discussion format is rooted in ongoing dialogue and deliberation: a series of two-way exchanges between equals. It is designed to get students thinking, talking, and working together on some of the toughest moral issues of our time. Prior to the competition, students are provided with thought-provoking cases. They then diligently prepare by assembling talking points for the conference to engage in profound deliberations regarding various approaches and potential solutions to the dilemmas at hand.
