AP Latin, Class of 2022

email Facebook

Salvete, omnes! I’m Anna, your LHS webmaster for the 2020-2021 school year. I’ve been a part of the TJ Latin family since Latin 1 with Magister Schuler, and I’ll be taking AP Latin this fall. I’ve attended two state conventions and will be attending my second national convention in July!

Outside of Latin at TJ, I’m Co-President of TJ Dev Club, so let me know if you’re ever interested in talking about web dev! The TJ Latin has been my baby since I’ve worked on it, and I hope that it can be a useful resource for many years to come. I’ve greatly enjoyed combining two of my passions during my term.

In my spare time, you can find me practicing for an upcoming piano competition, terrorizing my friends with my spaghetti JavaScript code, and eating good Taiwanese food! Feel free to contact me with any questions, and you can find out more about me on my website.

  • NJCL Online Exams

The time to register for events has arrived! Please fill out the Google form issued by the Magistrae and pay for them on MySchoolBucks as soon as possible.

  • End of Year Slideshow

Rhea, one of our Artifices, has made a beautiful end-of-year slideshow that you can view here. On behalf of the other TJLHS officers, happy summer! We can’t wait to start back up in-person events in the fall, but before then, make sure you have some fun and get some rest.

  • Sign Up for NJCL Convention

Salvete, omnes! The time has come to prepare for NJCL Convention, which will be hosted this year virtually on Zoom. It’s lots of fun, and although you may not get the sleep deprived Nats experience, we’re super hyped for what this year will offer.

  • Congratulations to the Class of 2021!

It’s been a pretty crazy year, and TJ Latin wasn’t able to have the traditional Senior Night, but Jing, Reva, and JW put this year’s Senior Send Off together, which can be found here.

  • New TJ Latin Website Launched

After months of hard work, a lot of code review, and a possible rewrite, we’ve launched our new website! You’re currently visiting the static version of the site, with blogging by Jekyll. Honestly, it was a lot of fun rewriting it, since everything’s super easy to use now! (Not to mention, we’re developing locally!!)
