What’s up delegates, my name is Dilnaaz Talwar! I’m a senior at TJ who started MUN my freshman year. This club has allowed me to make enough memories that will last me for a lifetime. I have met people from all over the world and learned how to become not only a better delegate, but a better person. From going to bed at 4 a.m. the night before committee, having my voice crack in the middle of a mod, or tripping over the same backpack 5 times during unmods because I don’t know how to walk in heels, MUN has been an experience like no other.

Now I do have a life outside of MUN! I’ve been a dancer my entire life both in and out of school. I love relaxing and appreciate any time I get to watch TV or sleep. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends, making fun of Rishika and Akul, and spending time with my family.

I hope to see all of you give your best at this conference and walk out as a delegate who has learned new things from other people and even yourself. I am so excited to be your director and see how all of you come together to make this a memorable and exciting committee! Rishika Singh

Hey everyone! I’m Rishika Singh, a senior at TJ. I have made so many friends through MUN, two of which are Dilnaaz and Akul, who I am extremely grateful for. I have made great memories with them such as hugging one of them in their sleep and chairing last year's largest TechMUN GA (respectively). Through MUN, I’ve learnt not only how to speak in a crowd full of a room, but also learning how to be a better person.

As for outside of MUN, I love to participate in sports such as soccer and cross country while calling my friends to talk to for hours. But my favorite thing to do is eat—particularly Sisters Thai in Alexandria and get Panang Tofu and a Waffle Nutella Banana from the Magnolia attached.

I hope Akul, Dilnaaz, and I can make this TechMUN the best one yet for you. We’re excited to meet you all and make sure to have fun!
