Individual Awards
Individual awards are determined by committee chairs and recognize delegates for their preparation, creativity, speaking abilities, leadership, and ability to foster collaboration. While awards are not the primary goal of the conference, they highlight exceptional contributions.

Delegation Awards
TechMUN also recognizes schools with a consistent standard of excellence, considering individual awards, research, adherence to the Code of Conduct, and diplomatic collaboration. Schools need a minimum of 5 delegations to be considered for school awards. Delegations are categorized by size based on the median delegation size at registration closure.

Technology Policy
To maintain fairness, technology use is prohibited during committee sessions. Delegates who need to use a device must step outside. Research or drafting resolutions using technology during committee is strictly forbidden.
Plagiarism & Pre-Written Work
Plagiarism in position papers, working papers, or debate materials will result in immediate disqualification from awards and notification of the school sponsor.
Pre-written legislation, including full working papers or clauses drafted before the first committee session, is prohibited. Delegates may work on resolutions outside committee sessions after the first meeting.
Behavior & Conduct
All delegates must act professionally and adhere to school-appropriate conduct. Violations may result in expulsion from committee and further disciplinary action. Severe cases can lead to delegation disqualification.
Dress Code
Western Business Attire is required unless a special committee allows period-appropriate or character-based attire. Religious headdresses or coverings are permitted.
