Dina Kurdi
ChairDear Delegates, My name is Dina Kurdi, and I am thrilled to be your co-chair for UNICEF at TECHMUN this year! I am currently a junior at TJ and have been involved in Model UN for five years. MUN has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my high school career, challenging me to become a better speaker, negotiator, and problem-solver. I love the intensity of debate and the strategic thinking required in committee, and I hope this conference pushes you to grow in the same way!
Outside of MUN (when I’m not drowning in homework or cramming for a test), I love watching sports—anything from F1 to soccer—cooking, playing the piano, and spending time with my friends.
For this committee, my goal is to push delegates outside their comfort zone. I want to see strong partnerships, well-researched arguments, and adaptability in the face of challenges. MUN is notorious for presenting difficult barriers—both in moderated and unmoderated debate—but I hope to create an engaging and productive environment where every delegate feels encouraged to contribute. Whether you’re a seasoned delegate or new to MUN, I can’t wait to see the creative solutions and dynamic debate you bring to the table! If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to me or contact uniceftechmun2025@gmail.com!

Christine Qiao
ChairHey guys! I’m Christine Qiao and I am ecstatic to be one of your chairs for UNICEF at TECHMUN XXXII! I am a junior and this is my fourth year in Model UN. Over the years, I’ve grown fond of this club and has become one of highlights of my time at TJ. From learning how to speak effectively to writing and collaborating solutions with my peers, Model UN has taught me a lot and I hope I’m able to pass that on to you! Outside of MUN, you can catch me obsessing over new Netflix shows, trying new Celsius flavors, or screaming songs in the front seat of my friend’s car.
My goal for this committee is to encourage delegates to try something new. While we do value diplomacy, strong speeches, and creative solutions, do not be afraid to step outside the norms of MUN, and do something unique! Trust me, we will notice you if you do that. I cannot wait to see what everyone comes up with and I hope you all put in your best effort. If you have any further questions, please contact us at uniceftechmun2025@gmail.com!
