Hey delegates! My name is Jia and I’m thrilled to be your director for the Gossip Girl committee this year. I’ve been doing Model United Nations since my freshman year, and it's truly been one of the biggest parts of my high school career. MUN has given me the chance to dive deep into global issues, sharpen my public speaking, and, most importantly, scheme and plot to take over committees. I find it fun to take on different roles and think outside the box, especially in Crisis (in case you can’t tell, I like fast paced and unpredictable committees, so make your arc fun). When I’m not at a MUN conference, you can probably find me dancing (a lot), crocheting, watching Netflix, or spending time with friends and family.

In this committee, I want you to think like Gossip Girl herself–manipulative, clever, and always staying one step ahead. You’ll need to master the art of alliances, drama, and secrecy—because in this world, nothing is quite as it seems. I'm excited to see how you all navigate the scandalous world of the Upper East Side.

Hey everyone! My name is Claire, and I’m excited to be one of your co-chairs for the Gossip Girl committee. I’m currently a senior at TJ, and this is my fourth year doing Model UN. From meeting new people all over the world to hanging out with friends at conferences, MUN has given me some of my best memories.

Outside of MUN, you’ll most likely find me reading a good book, watching Netflix, or playing with my dog. For this committee, we strongly value creativity, so we want to see something fun and unpredictable, just like the show itself!
