Hi everyone! I’m Agasthya and I am currently a junior at TJ. This is my third year of participating in MUN, and also my third TechMUN. MUN can be an emotional rollercoaster, from the anxiety of going into committee, to the joy of getting that resolution paper passed or meeting new people. The experiences that I’ve gained in the past few years have made MUN a resource of growth and learning, not just as a delegate, but as a person too, and I hope it’ll be the same for you! Since Lalit and I attended our first committee together as freshman, we have been able to see the potential that delegates have, and how exciting MUN can be.
Outside of school, I enjoy learning more about the business world, trying out new foods, and traveling. I also love all things sports, but being a Washington sports fan can have its highs and lows (mainly lows). To get into the technicalities, in this committee we would like to see you learn and improve, and strive to be the best delegate that you can be. We will be observant of delegates that showcase electric speeches, diplomacy, and innovative resolutions. I’m excited to see the creative ideas that you all produce over the weekend! Hey guys! My name is Lalit, and I am currently a junior at TJ. This marks my third year participating in MUN and my third year with TJ MUN. Engaging in MUN has been an exhilarating journey for me, filled with a multitude of emotions and experiences. The knowledge I have gained from MUN in the past few years has been tremendous and well worth it. MUN has continued to be a great learning experience for me and has helped shape me as a person. Agasthya and I attended our first committee together as freshmen, which truly showed us how exciting this club could be.
