Anirudh Chinthakindi

Hey guys! I’m Anirudh Chinthakindi, I’m a junior at TJ and I’ll be your director for the A New Era: OpenAI Board of Directors committee. I’ve been doing Model UN since 8th grade and after coming to TJ, it’s become a big part of my school career. In my opinion, MUN is so great because it gives me so many opportunities to express myself and grow as a person. From getting better at public speaking, learning that writing speeches during opening ceremonies makes them even better, and meeting some awesome people from all around the country, MUN has truly been a great experience for me and many of my peers.

Outside of MUN, I enjoy playing basketball, learning how to play another crazy fast sonata on piano, messing around my neighborhood with my friends, and sleeping. Coming back to TechMUN, throughout the committee, we will be looking out for delegates with good communication skills, an open imagination for amazing crisis arcs, and passionate debate for every motion. I hope that all of you come out of TechMUN as a better delegate, with evolved communication skills, improved collaboration skills, and a better knowledge of how to create more conniving crisis arcs. And remember, this is just a start for a long and amazing MUN career. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out at openaitechmun2024@gmail.com.

Pranav Elavarthi

Hi guys! I’m Pranav and I am a senior at TJ. This is my fifth year of doing MUN and my third TechMUN. I’ve had an incredible time throughout my TJMUN experience. Everything from stimulating debate to a great community are what make MUN unique. I’ved learned so many useful skills and had so much fun. As your chair at TechMUN this year, my last high school MUN conference, I hope I can help make your MUN experience as great as mine has been. Outside of MUN, you’ll find me playing basketball, ranting about how Brock Purdy isn’t a system quarterback, or rewatching Avatar.

In committee, I’ll be looking for a well rounded delegate: someone that can not only contribute interesting and unique ideas to debate, but also balance leading others and teamwork and collaboration. If you have any questions at all about TechMUN or this committee specifically, don’t hesitate to reach out to openaitechmun2024@gmail.com. I’m excited to meet you all in April, but until then I will leave you with a quote from Master Oogway: “Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, but Today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.”

Lavanya Krishna

Hi everybody! My name is Lavanya Krishna and I’m currently a junior at TJ and it is my third year at Model UN. I’ve made some of my favorite memories at TJ MUN and if I could go back in time I wouldn’t change a thing. Joining MUN has brought me some of my best friends and has taught me priceless skills, all while being an amazing opportunity for public speaking and leadership – things that your “average debate club” can’t do ;). As your chair, I hope I can help foster new memories for all of you this year!

Outside of committee, I love watching new shows and rewatching some of my favorite TV shows, so if you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear them! In committee, I am looking for well-spoken leaders who are clear with their ideas while staying diplomatic and strong amidst the crisis updates. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and seeing how well the committee goes for you all! If you have any questions or concerns at all please feel free to reach out to our committee email.
