Miranda Xiong

Hi everyone! My name is Miranda Xiong and I am so excited to be coming back to chair at TechMUN XXXI! I graduated from TJ in 2021 and am now a junior at Georgetown University, where I currently compete on the collegiate circuit and served on the conference secretariats of NCSC and NAIMUN, Georgetown’s collegiate and high school conferences respectively. I As much as people love to rag on Model UN, I am a firm believer in the educational potential of MUN to bring out the best parts of yourself...take it from a washed up alumni chair who started MUN “late” (junior year of high school) and is still competing, almost four years later. I’ve picked up a few hobbies outside of MUN, including being an EMT and amateur photography. I can not wait to see you all at TechMUN, and please don’t hesitate to reach me at mx96@georgetown.edu or psychedouttechmun2024@gmail.com.

Vyomika Gandhi

Hello delegates! My name is Vyomika Gandhi, and I’m so excited to chair your committee at TechMUN this year! I graduated from TJ In 2021 (yay virtual senior year!!) and am currently a student at Georgetown University, majoring in Psychology (how fitting for our committee…) In college, I also chair & CM for NCSC and NAIMUN, Georgetown’s collegiate and high school conferences. In today’s political climate, I feel like having important conversations and healthy debates on our education system is super important, which is why I’m super excited about our committee. As students, we’re never too young to be following politics, especially when its implications directly impact our classrooms! Outside of MUN, I intern on Capitol Hill and enjoy keeping up with the political drama of our country. I can’t wait to have a great weekend with y’all! Feel free to reach out to me at vg259@georgetown.edu or psychedouttechmun2024@gmail.com.
