Rishabh Chhabra

Hi, my name is Rishabh Chhabra and I’m the chair for the Cranked: Fortnite Chapter 1 Crisis committee. I am currently a senior, and I have been doing MUN for about 4 years. My MUN experiences throughout freshman, sophomore, and junior year have been like no other and helped me grow as a person, and MUN has since become a large part of my life. From nervous mod speeches, to nearly falling asleep in dark auditoriums during closing ceremonies and microphone errors during the virtual years, MUN has had an enormous impact on my high school experience. In my free time, I like to watch (and overly analyze) movies and TV shows, go biking with neighborhood friends, mindlessly scroll through YouTube, and play football. In committee, I'm excited to see how all of you show off not only your MUN skills, but your personalities as well. A good delegate is able to bolster themselves with their knowledge, their speaking ability, and their ability to both support and lead other delegates. Creativity is the key to standing out in a fictional committee with unlimited opportunities. After all, the goal of MUN may technically be to have interesting debates and last-minute-made position papers, but we as chairs want to make sure everyone has a great experience. If you have any questions for me, Parth, or Arjun, reach out to us at fortnitechapter1techmun2024@gmail.com!

Parth Gupta

What’s up delegates! I’m Parth and will serve as one of your Fortnite chairs for TECHMUN XXXI. I have been doing mun since 6th grade and over the years I have learned a whole lot. So whether you are a newcomer at MUN or the sweatiest scarf-wearing gavel-er the world has ever seen, don’t stress!

Outside of MUN, I love cooking, playing sports, and playing video games. I love all sorts of music, but some of my top genres are rap, R&B, and pop, so that kinda gives you an idea of what I like listening to.

As you can imagine, in my 7 years of MUN I have experienced some pretty chaotic feats and pretty depressing failures. From the rollercoaster of emotions, I have learned one thing: It won’t matter two weeks after the conference if you don’t perform. And quite frankly, it won’t matter two weeks after the conference if you do perform. There is one thing that I demand, however. Respect. Of course, everyone knows to respect the directors and chairs, but the most important thing is to respect each other… please 🙂

If you have any questions, and of course, do not hesitate to ask. With all that out of the way… GET HYPED for TECHMUN XXXI!!!

Arjun Bhat

Hey everyone!

My name is Arjun Bhat, and I’m beyond hyped to serve as one of your chairs for Fortnite Chapter 1. I started doing MUN in 9th grade, and even as a Senior, I vividly remember all the memories I’ve made along the way. That’s why I’m hoping that all of you, regardless of whether you’re new or familiar with Crisis, will make a new memory at this year’s TechMUN. I’m also super eager to see all the Crisis newcomers learn how to succeed in a Crisis setting, and perhaps even see the Crisis veterans become even stronger delegates.

About myself, some things I love are listening to music (this year I became a huge House fan and aspiring DJ), driving, and cooking - I’m still learning so I can be self-sufficient in college.

I’m looking forward to learning more about you all, but I also want to set straight that I hope you all don’t take this conference too seriously, while giving it the respect a MUN conference deserves. After the weekend’s over, what’ll be more important are the takeaways you made from the committee rather than if you got an award. That being said, be excited to bring your best and keep an open mind!

We can’t wait to see you here!
