“Honey I Lost the Kids”: Field Trip to the Park

Hello delegates! My name is Siya Bulusu and I’m so excited to be one of your chairs for TechMUN XXXI. I’m currently a junior at TJ, and this is my 5th year doing Model UN, and my third year as part of TJMUN. During the past three years, MUN allowed me to meet some of my closest friends and become a part of an amazing community. I have spent countless hours sitting through speeches, writing clauses, and stressing over my next mod. Through all that, I am forever grateful for the experiences I have gained through MUN. Model UN has helped me become a better speaker and collaborator, and given me valuable lifelong skills.

Outside of MUN, I usually spend my time stressing over another assignment, playing with my dog, and listening to music.

As your chair, I can’t wait to see interesting speeches, ideas, and papers. My only goal as your chair is to see everyone put in their best efforts and work hard to become better speakers and collaborators. I cannot wait to see the amazing ideas everyone will come up with in committee and make this conference the best one yet! Jahnavi Guduru

Hi Guys! My name is Jahnavi Guduru and I am so excited to see how this year's TechMUN will pan out! I am currently a junior at TJ and this is only my second year of doing MUN, but is my third TechMUN. From stressing about opening speeches to late night starbucks runs before curfew at Nationals, MUN has taught me valuable lessons, not just for academics, but for life and has introduced me to people I wouldn’t have known otherwise! I don’t know who I would be as a high schooler without my MUN experience and I’m so excited to share my TechMUN XXXI experience with you all!

Outside of MUN, I enjoy watching TV shows that make me mad (I just finished hate watching Bridgerton) and TV shows that are absurdly long (still trying to get through Suits). I spend my time stressing over the fact that I have so much work to do and spend more time stressing than actually doing my assignments, unfortunately. I love listening to music on my way to school and my current favorite artists are The Neighborhood, Lana Del Ray, Chase Atlantic, and The Weeknd.

As a chair, I’m ready to see creative, wacky ideas that will blow me out of the water. Ideas that no sane mind will think of and will make me laugh. I cannot wait to see what everyone comes up with and I hope you all put in your best effort!
