Vaishnavi Kuriti

Hi guys! I’m Vaishnavi, and I am so excited to be one of your chairs for Met Gala: Bring Your Bling! Although my most fashionable outfits these days mainly consist of sweatpants and pajamas (as a second-semester senior), I am so excited to see all that you guys bring to this committee. This is my sixth year in MUN, and I can honestly say that no club has made me feel the same range of emotions that MUN has, and I’m so excited to end that journey off with TechMUN.

Outside of MUN, I love to bake, watch murder mysteries and romcoms, fangirl over Taylor Swift with your co-chair Nivika (google ‘monkey singing taylor swift’–you won’t regret it), start new shows that I’ll never finish (I still haven’t finished Grey’s Anatomy, Emily in Paris, The Crown, Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Legend of Korra, Madam Secretary, Anne with an E…), or tower over Nivika (it’s true). When it comes to committee, we’re really hoping to see your creativity shine as bright as your outfits (dressing up is encouraged!!), while also looking for your diplomacy and speaking skills. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to metgala2024@gmail.com, and we can’t wait to meet you all!

Nivika Gandhi

Hey guys! Welcome to TechMUN XXXI! My name is Nivika and I’m currently a senior here at TJ. I’ve been involved with MUN since seventh grade, and I’m so excited to end my Model UN journey ~in style~ with all of you as one of your chairs for Met Gala: Bring Your Bling! Throughout the past 6 years, MUN has helped me grow from a shy middle schooler to the person I am today. I have built public speaking skills, learned all about effective communication, and made some great friends along the way.

Outside of MUN, I love drawing (specifically with charcoal and pastels) and ice skating. I also love to spend time with my friends and family, fangirl over Taylor Swift with your co-chair Vaishnavi (all the views on the youtube video she recommended are from us), and call Vaishnavi short! In committee, I can’t want to see all of your guys’ creativity with both your ideas and your outfits. We will be looking for delegates who demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking and leadership skills, while still remaining cooperative and diplomatic. I encourage all of you, whether it be your first or last conference, to step outside your comfort zones in committee, speak up, and have fun! If you have any questions about committee or TJ, comments or concerns, or fun outfit ideas, don’t hesitate to email us at metgala2024@gmail.com. We are so excited to meet all of you!
