Adarsh Iruvanti

Hi everyone! Welcome to TechMUN XXXI! My name is Adarsh and I’m excited to serve as one of your chairs for the March Madness: NCAA 2022 committee! This is my second year in TJMUN, and I can proudly say that Model UN has been one of the most enjoyable and engaging parts of my high school career. Having experienced the feelings of anxiety during a speech crafted on-the-spot, prepping with my friends, interacting with other like-minded delegates, and the excitement after seeing our 3-way resolution papers passed, I’ve learned so much from MUN. Whether it is your first or last conference, TechMUN is a fantastic opportunity to try new things, make new friends, and improve your skills, and I hope that this committee is able to help you achieve those endeavors. Outside of MUN, you can find me speedsolving my Rubik’s cube, practicing the viola, and playing badminton with my family and friends. Coming back to committee, we value delegates who can incorporate innovative solutions and directives, craft compelling speeches, and creatively adapt to the flow of committee to the best of their ability. We also want to see you all exhibit strong leadership qualities whilst maintaining diplomacy with others. Regardless of your MUN experience, I encourage all of you to step out of your comfort zone, raise your placard, have fun, and give it your best shot! Lastly, if you have any questions for us about committee, MUN, TJ, or anything else, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at marchmadnesstechmun2024@gmail.com. See you all in April!

Justin Kim

Hey everyone! I’m Justin, and I’m a sophomore at TJ. I’m looking forward to being one of your chairs for the March Madness: NCAA 2022 committee! I’ve done Model UN since 7th grade, and the fast-paced debates and updates have always been the highlight of my evenings and weekends. I’ve been in your shoes as I attended TechMUN as a middle schooler, and I can safely say it was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had. I truly hope this committee can be the same for you all. Outside of MUN, you can find me running, playing tennis, practicing the violin, or scrolling mindlessly through TikTok. I also love trying new foods. In committee, we value delegates who are diplomatic, innovative, and charismatic. I am sure each and every one of you will bring your most creative speeches and solutions, and I’m so excited to see how you all contribute to the energy in the committee room. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at marchmadnesstechmun2024@gmail.com. One last tip– don’t start your position papers the night before! I’m speaking from experience.
